Think of your first few sessions like getting to know a new friend - except, your therapist is learning about you and how to best support your needs, and you’re learning about your therapist’s unique style and approach.
Know that it’s okay to ask questions – and get curious about the work you’ll be doing together. Your therapist will be there to support you every step of the way.

The time it takes to feel better depends on how long you’ve been feeling this way, the specific situations you’re dealing with and your goals for therapy.
For specific issues, you might find the support you need after 5-10 sessions. For longer-term patterns or complex situations, we work with most clients for at least 6 months.
